Challenge

Shelli Wright Johnson, attorney

and author, created Bess, a child-sized Egyptian god for her children’s stories.  All she needed was someone to show children what Bess looked like and design her books… inside and out. 

Solution

Shelli’s words guided us as we did the first drawings of Bess.  Next we created cover designs, worked on character development, completed internal illustrations and text design. To entice young readers, we relied on extensive social media posts and a young at heart website design

 Working closely with the author, Bess came to life, and together we strove to make Bess magical. 

Results

Shelli was especially delighted by the delightful book cover with pull off-the-shelf demand.  She reports that she and we have pushed the new book to an all-time high.  Look for more Bess stories
